RedSeal Finalizes DoD Approved Product Listing

Corsec would like to congratulate our partner, RedSeal Inc., a thought leader on resilience; for completing the Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DoDIN APL) process. By successfully listing their RedSeal Server, they further extend their sales reach within the U.S. DoD, including the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps.

In order to meet the demands of today’s security threats and DoD procurement guidelines, RedSeal designed and engineered the RedSeal Server Release 8.5.1 solution to pass strict Information Assurance (IA) and Interoperability (IO) requirements, including STIG testing, CAC compliance, and conformance to IPv6. RedSeal’s partner in this endeavor was Corsec Security, Inc., helping to design, document, test, and manage the process alongside RedSeal’s award winning team. The completion of the listing process not only opens the doors to new and exciting markets for RedSeal, but also demonstrates their fervent commitment to product security.

About the DoDIN APL

The DoDIN APL represents the agency’s master list of secure, trusted and approved technology infrastructure products. The DoDIN APL was developed in an effort to maintain a single consolidated list of products that have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification. Getting a product included on this coveted list involves a rigorous 39-step process overseen by the Approved Products Certification Office (APCO). This laborious and often confusing process involves the submission of a series of properly completed forms and product documentation, attainment of prerequisite validations and certifications such as FIPS 140-2 and Common Criteria, and adherence to strict scheduling guidelines and interdependencies.

About RedSeal Inc.
